In Revelation 7 there are 144,000 Jews* sealed before the opening of the seventh seal to protect them during the last 14 judgments. They will go through the tribulation with God's supernatural protection. The 144,000 that are mentioned in Rev. 14 were redeemed bodily from the earth.
